On September 19, the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin will join thousands of nonprofits and hundreds of volunteers across the country to celebrate National Voter Registration Day. We are all coming together with the goal of registering as many voters as possible.
This is our opportunity to build serious momentum for voting access before the 2024 elections. Now more than ever, we need to work together to get our communities more involved so they have a say in who makes the decisions in our state. We hope you will join us - either by signing up your organization as a partner or volunteering as an individual in one of the many events in our state!
Here are some ways you can celebrate National Voter Registration Day:
Host a voter registration or voter education event – or partner with another group to host an event,
Send an email to your friends and neighbors showing them how to register to vote,
Post voter registration information and info about National Voter Registration Day on your social media pages,
Ask your friends and followers to share voter registration information with three friends.
