On February 19, 2024, Governor Evers signed new legislative maps into law that will be in effect for 2024 elections. These maps offer the first opportunity in more than a decade for voters to elect a more balanced Wisconsin State Legislature. When that happens, passing independent nonpartisan redistricting legislation will be the TOP priority of the Fair Maps Coalition. Voters should choose their elected officials, not the other way around.
