A Conversation About Election Integrity in Wisconsin

Statewide and national elections in Wisconsin have been the focus of considerable attention in recent years. The pandemic had an added impact on the 2020 election cycle. Notable, Wisconsin has an extensive form of local government, which consists of 72 counties and 1852 cities, towns and villages. Elections are primarily run locally, directly by the county and municipal clerks, under the guidance of the Wisconsin Elections Commission, subject to provisions of state law.
